About Winter Wonder Walk

Winter Wonder Walk is an outdoor live-action theater experience created by Asheville Plays and held at the Adventure Center of Asheville. Visitors walk an immersive story trail through Winterland with live characters, twinkling lights, and participate in Asheville's largest snowball fight. The experience centers on three main components. The festival tent houses elf games and crafts, a holiday market with locally made goods, and food including hot chocolate, hot cider, donuts made onsite, homemade s'mores at small bonfires, and offerings from a food truck. The Holiday Aerial Glow Trail features an elevated aerial course with swinging bridges, cable walks, beam walks, tunnels, and challenges set among thousands of yellow, red, green, and blue lights, open to ages four and older. The S'Mitten With Books program offers free admission to children ten and under who read ten books before arriving. Tickets are sold online on the venue's website.
