About Wildwood Preserve Metropark
Wildwood Preserve Metropark in Toledo features the Mini Maumee Discovery Play Area, a scaled water play experience based on the Maumee River and its tributaries where visitors splash, slide, and navigate miniaturized waterways to learn about the ecosystem. The park includes the Grosbeak and Prairie Pollinator discovery playgrounds for exploration, plus The Ribbon, a 1,000-foot roller trail for roller skates, rollerblades, and kick scooters. A 32-foot rock climbing wall offers climbing opportunities throughout the season. Equipment rentals are available for roller skates, rollerblades, Micro Kickboard scooters, and Micro Balance Bikes. The Garden by Poco Piatti restaurant serves lunch, dinner, and refreshments near The Ribbon, with patio seating overlooking the Toledo Riverfront. Restrooms, changing rooms, and storage lockers are located in the nearby Market Hall building.
