About Ritter Planetarium

Ritter Planetarium in Toledo offers full-dome shows where visitors sit inside a theater and watch programs projected across the entire interior surface. Recent offerings include Chasing the Ghost Particle, which explores mysterious neutrinos from deep space and their role in studying cosmic events like exploding stars and black holes. One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure introduces young children ages three and a half to six to the night sky through a full-dome show featuring Sesame Street characters Big Bird and Elmo as they travel from Sesame Street to the Moon with Hu Hu Zhu, a Muppet from China. The planetarium offers public programs on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons during the academic year, along with specialized programs for school groups and scout organizations including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Brownies. The planetarium charges admission and publishes its prices online.
