Vertical Hold offers indoor rock climbing with multiple wall types in Poway, California. Visitors climb using auto-belays, top rope, bouldering, and lead climbing techniques across different wall sections. The gym includes a full service fitness facility with strength training equipment, including a Moonboard, hangboards, and campusboard for climbers developing power and technique. Intro lessons teach newcomers the fundamentals, while belay certifications allow visitors to progress to rope climbing independently. Climbing clinics provide skill-focused instruction, and a youth team program serves younger climbers. The facility also runs yoga classes and fitness programs alongside its climbing offerings.
