About UTA Planetarium

UTA Planetarium in Arlington is one of the three largest planetariums in Texas, where visitors sit beneath a 60-foot dome to view the night sky, solar system, stars, and distant galaxies through a fully digital projection system and advanced Digistar 7 software. The planetarium offers weekly public shows led by astronomers who provide night sky tours, present the solar system and other point-of-interest objects, and cover trending astronomy topics. Visitors can also use the UTA Observatory for hands-on telescope viewing. Special events include live music performances, movie nights, and mindfulness sessions. The planetarium accommodates field trips for groups and school classes. Parties and celebrations can be held at the venue. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website, and gift ticket vouchers are available for purchase.
