About International Bowling Museum & Hall of Fame

The International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame preserves and exhibits five thousand years of bowling history, from ancient Egyptian artifacts through British royal collections to modern competitive training. Visitors walk through the Bowling Hall of Fame, where rare photographs and vintage film clips chronicle bowling's greatest legends and trace the sport's evolution from archaeological digs to American taverns to cutting-edge computer-assisted training centers. The museum's collection includes one-of-a-kind bowling artifacts and archival materials spanning books, magazines, newspapers and publications related to bowling history. The museum is housed within the International Bowling Campus in Arlington, Texas, alongside the Bowling Proprietors Association of America, the United States Bowling Congress, and the International Training and Research Center. The facility operates Tuesday through Saturday with final entry admitted thirty minutes before closing. Children three and under receive free admission, while the museum charges separate admission prices for adults, seniors and children four through eighteen.
