About USF Botanical Gardens
USF Botanical Gardens features an apiary where visitors observe honeybees alongside 16 acres of botanical collections in Tampa. The gardens span nearly 8 acres of natural woodland and 8 acres of planted gardens, with extensive Florida native plant collections, orchids, and exotic fruit trees from around the world. A plant shop operates on-site, and the gardens host plant festivals, workshops, and special events throughout the year. Guided tours for groups of ten or more are available for an additional fee and must be scheduled in advance. Field trips require reservations, with one chaperone required for every ten children. General admission is $5, though children 12 and under enter free, according to pricing published on usf.edu. The gardens open Tuesday through Sunday.
