About The Studio Climbing

The Studio is an indoor climbing gym located in downtown San Jose, converted from a historic single-screen movie theater. Visitors climb on 11,000 square feet of climbing terrain across multiple wall types. The facility features a 40-foot lead wall, 3,000 square feet of bouldering terrain, and over 120 routes of varying difficulty. Members and day-pass holders can participate in rope climbing, top-rope sessions, and bouldering. The Studio also offers yoga and fitness classes on a regular calendar, along with functional fitness spaces throughout the facility. A coed sauna is available exclusively to members. First-time climbers and experienced climbers alike can find appropriate routes and instruction. The facility welcomes solo visitors, friends climbing together, and families with children.
