About The Dallas World Aquarium

The Dallas World Aquarium in downtown Dallas features multiple themed exhibits that showcase freshwater and saltwater ecosystems from around the world. Visitors explore the ORINOCO exhibit, which highlights river secrets, the Mundo Maya exhibit opened in 2004, and the Cloud Forest Trek, a third-floor rainforest attraction that opened in 2020 featuring a 52-foot-wide LED screen displaying Colombian rainforest clouds integrated with live jungle foliage and South American animals. The facility also includes the Aquarium exhibit and displays dedicated to South Africa and Borneo wildlife. The attraction occupies converted warehouse buildings from the 1920s near the Historic West End District. The Dallas World Aquarium has been accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums since 1997 and holds membership in the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The facility opens daily and publishes its admission prices online, welcoming families, children, seniors, and military visitors to explore its animal collections and conservation exhibits.
