About Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum

The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum in Waco preserves the history of the legendary Texas Rangers across three centuries. Visitors explore six galleries featuring exhibits organized by historical period and topic. The Homer Garrison Gallery introduces Rangers through exhibits on badges and commissions. The Ida Morris Gallery covers 1835 to 1935, including the Texas Revolution, Frontier Battalion, border conflicts, and the Rangers' role in capturing Bonnie and Clyde. The Joe Troy Brownfield Gallery traces modern Rangers from 1935 to the present and their relationship with the Texas Department of Public Safety. The Henry J.N. Taub Hall highlights ranger family traditions, women in the Rangers, and pathways to becoming a Ranger. The Pop Culture Gallery showcases Rangers in radio, film, and television, including Walker, Texas Ranger exhibits. The museum operates the Tobin and Anne Armstrong Texas Ranger Research Center.
