About Dr Pepper Museum

Dr Pepper Museum occupies the 1906 Artesian Manufacturing and Bottling Company building in Waco, where visitors explore the history of Dr Pepper and the soft drink industry through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities. The Healing Waters exhibit traces carbonated beverages from medicinal origins to modern soft drinks, while the Old Corner Drug Store recreation shows where Dr Pepper was invented in 1885. Visitors can make their own soda at the Make-A-Soda station, explore the Keurig Dr Pepper Liquid Lab, and enjoy refreshments at the soda fountain. The museum also features the Waco Lunch Counter Exhibit and offers special reserved experiences including the Extreme Pepper Experience and Paranormal Experience. The self-guided general admission tour moves through the original bottling plant and the adjacent historic Kellum-Rotan building. School groups, homeschool visitors, and families find educational programs and field trips suited to various ages. The museum charges admission and is located at 300 South 5th Street in downtown Waco.
