Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville features four galleries, a digital planetarium, and outdoor attractions where visitors explore science through hands-on experiences. The Bentley Planetarium presents rotating shows including Beyond the Sun, a journey through the universe and exoplanet discovery; Spark: The Universe in Us, which traces stellar elements through space; Our Violent Planet, showcasing earthquakes and volcanic eruptions; and Live Tour of Tonight's Sky, presenting constellations visible from Georgia. Visitors can participate in the Fossil Dig, where they excavate fossils to take home, and Gem Panning to collect gemstones. The outdoor Solar Trail and Solar House offer additional exploration. A café provides meals and refreshments. A typical visit takes at least three hours without planetarium shows. The museum opens daily and is closed on major holidays. Group rates are available with advance notice, and tickets are sold online through the museum's website.
