Snetsinger Butterfly Garden is a pollinator habitat at Tom Tudek Memorial Park where visitors explore demonstration gardens and learn about native plants and butterflies. General admission is free, and the garden is open from dawn to dusk. The Woodland Demonstration Garden showcases layered vegetation including native trees, shrubs, and perennials that host caterpillars and shelter overwintering butterflies, with features like black cherry trees and violets. The Discovery Garden teaches pollinator-friendly gardening techniques through native plants including members of the mint family like wild bergamot and anise hyssop. Visitors walk on paved pathways connecting eight demonstration areas. Penn State Extension Master Gardeners offer guided tours and educational programs tailored to school groups and other visitors. The garden is located in State College, Pennsylvania and features free parking within the park.
