Lincoln Caverns offers one-hour interpretive tours through two crystal caverns, Lincoln Caverns and Whisper Rocks, where visitors encounter delicate crystals, sparkling stalactites, and massive flowstones. The site includes panning for real gems in a sluice with six varieties of panning mix, nature trails where turkeys, rabbits, hawks, deer, and songbirds appear, and covered picnic pavilions available to groups with reservations. The Raystown Rocks gift shop stocks rocks and minerals, cavern and Pennsylvania souvenirs, books, toys, science kits, and jewelry. Special programs include Scouts BSA geocaching and geology merit badge events, Workshop Wednesdays cave education sessions, and the 43rd Annual Ghosts & Goblins evening terror tours. The caverns maintain a constant 52-degree temperature, and visitors should wear light jackets and comfortable walking shoes with good treads. Located in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, Lincoln Caverns charges admission with tickets available online through the venue's website or at the door.
