About Shady Acres Farm Ohio
Shady Acres Farm is a family-owned flower farm in Columbia Station where visitors select and cut their own blooms during You-Pick events held on Saturdays. The farm grows celosia, snapdragons, sunflowers, zinnias, lisianthus, tulips, and amaranthus across its cutting gardens. The farm is most known for its dahlia field, which contains over two hundred varieties and five thousand plants. Additional seasonal flowers include cosmos, gladiolus, hydrangea, statice, sweet pea, veronica, and yarrow. A roadside stand offers fresh bouquets stocked daily. The farm also supplies wholesale flowers to florists and other distributors and reserves space for professional photography. Visitors interested in regular selections can arrange a Community Supported Agriculture subscription for monthly seasonal bouquets. The farm operates as a sustainable, organic growing operation located about thirty minutes from downtown Cleveland.
