Stearns Homestead is the last working educational farm in Parma, Ohio, where visitors interact directly with farm animals and explore two historic museum houses. The forty-eight-acre property features a Stearns House built in the 1850s and a Gibbs House from 1920, both furnished with period-appropriate items and available for guided tours on weekends. The barnyard houses numerous animals including horses, ducks, a miniature donkey named Bitty, and geese at the pond where turtles sun themselves. Visitors can purchase animal feed on-site to feed the livestock, walk the grounds around the pond, and relax on benches beneath oak trees overlooking the horse pasture.
