Riptide Charters operates deep-sea fishing, whale watching, and ashes scattering services from Pillar Point Harbor near Half Moon Bay, California. The F/V Riptide is a 40-foot fiberglass vessel owned and operated by Captain William Smith, a licensed captain with decades of experience in Half Moon Bay fishing. Visitors can pursue salmon, rockfish, lingcod, tuna, and albacore tuna on fishing charters that accommodate both individuals and groups. Whale watching trips feature humpback and gray whales visible from the boat. The Riptide is equipped with turbo diesel engines, state-of-the-art electronics, and holds United States Coast Guard inspection and licensure. Rod rentals, tackle kits, and fishing licenses are available on board. Ashes scattering services reserve the boat exclusively for one hour to memorialize loved ones at sea. Trips depart early morning and return between one and three o'clock in the afternoon.
