About Raleigh Fire Museum

The Raleigh Fire Museum, located at the Keeter Training Center in Raleigh, preserves over 150 years of firefighting history in the Capitol City through artifacts and historical images. Visitors explore exhibits representing the evolution of fire services and can touch a fire truck on display. The museum also features a fire hose prop that allows guests to spray water, providing hands-on engagement with firefighting equipment. Created and operated by a nonprofit charitable organization, the museum opens on the second Saturday of each month and welcomes visitors during published hours. General admission is free, and parking and restrooms are available. For groups or those unable to visit during regular monthly openings, tours are available by special appointment.
