Municipal Park in Clayton features a splash pad, playground, and sports courts alongside open green space ideal for picnics and outdoor games. The splash pad operates during warm months and requires swimsuits and appropriate attire; children under twelve must be supervised by an adult. The playground serves children ages five through twelve and includes climbing and sliding equipment. Two basketball courts occupy the grounds, with one also functioning as a futsal court. Three picnic shelters and a permanent stage make the park suitable for hosting weddings, family reunions, and birthday parties. A walking loop approximately one-quarter mile long circles the grounds. The centerpiece is a large open green space where visitors play catch, chase frisbees, and spread picnic blankets. A gravel trail winds through natural areas of the park. General admission is free to the public.
