About Raeford-Hoke Museum, Inc.

The Raeford-Hoke Museum preserves the history and culture of Hoke County through exhibits housed in two Colonial homes on a five-acre property. Visitors explore the McLauchlin-McFadyen House, a neoclassical revival mansion built in 1905 with 6,000 square feet of heated space filled with area antiques, historical artifacts, and photographs. The museum also features a 1921 fire truck, emergency and agricultural equipment, a building with antique dolls, a one-room schoolhouse, a smokehouse, and a country store. The Parker-Ray House, a two-story home relocated from Fayetteville Road and renovated to early 1900s style, stands at the rear of the property. The museum maintains an expansive genealogical records collection for research. Located in Raeford, North Carolina, the attraction serves those interested in local heritage and family history research. General admission is free.
