Cape Fear Botanical Garden sprawls across 80 acres between the Cape Fear River and Cross Creek in Fayetteville, where visitors walk paved pathways and shaded trails through curated gardens and wild spaces. The 1800s NC Heritage Garden, Interactive Children's Garden, and Cape Fear River Trail with overlook are signature areas. Classes and workshops teach hands-on exploration for all ages. Community events include the Heritage & Harvest Bourbon Showcase with tastings, live music, and handcrafting demonstrations, and Halloween at the BOOtanical Garden with an Alice in Wonderland theme.
