About Pima Air & Space Museum

Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson holds one of the world's largest non-government aviation collections, with approximately 400 aircraft displayed across 80 acres. Visitors explore six indoor hangars, including three dedicated to World War II history, plus the Dorothy Finley Aerospace Gallery and the Arizona Aviation Hall of Fame. The outdoor grounds display vintage planes ranging from a Wright Flyer to a 787 Dreamliner, alongside more than 125,000 artifacts. The 390th Memorial Museum occupies a separate building on the grounds. Visitors can walk the museum independently or join a 45-minute tram tour narrated by experienced guides, with audio tours and private walking tours also available. The Flight Grill offers food and beverages. General admission covers all indoor hangars, galleries, outdoor displays, and the 390th Memorial Museum. Leashed pets are welcome. The museum opened in 1976 and operates daily near Interstate 10 in Tucson.
