About Permian Basin Petroleum Museum

The Permian Basin Petroleum Museum in Midland offers an interactive journey through more than 230 million years of history. Visitors explore over 40,000 square feet of exhibits that tell the story of petroleum and the people who built the industry. The museum features interactive education and entertainment experiences alongside an archives center and a Petroleum Hall of Fame. Wheelchairs and children's strollers are available at no charge for visitors who need them. The museum charges admission, with prices published online for different visitor categories. Most visitors spend approximately two hours exploring the galleries.
