About White-Pool House

The Historic White-Pool House is a restored Victorian farmhouse built in 1887 that serves as a museum documenting Odessa's pioneer and oil boom eras. Visitors tour the two-story red brick home, furnished with period pieces and family heirlooms that belonged to the White family. The museum complex includes the main house with its original rock-lined cellar made of native caliche, along with surrounding historic grounds and barn facilities. The property is designated a Texas Antiquity, Texas Archaeological Landmark, and appears on the National Register of Historical Places. It represents the oldest remaining structure in Ector County. Visitors explore the furnished interior rooms, examine the distinctive architectural details, and view the outbuildings on the grounds. Free tours are available, and the venue also hosts private events including ceremonies, receptions, and tastings throughout the year.
