Broward Attractions & Museums Month (BAMM)

Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale Museum preserves the history of a World War II naval air station through exhibits housed in Building 8, the only remaining structure from the original naval complex of more than 200 buildings. Visitors explore displays about the station's role as a specialty school for training pilots on the TBM/TBF Avenger aircraft and examine the Link Trainer flight simulators that once occupied the building. The museum also features the Veterans History Project, which documents personal accounts from those who served. Outside, an award-winning Butterfly Garden provides a peaceful setting with a memorial dedicated to Flight 19, one of aviation's greatest mysteries. The museum serves as Broward County's only military museum and is a National Register of Historic Place and Florida Heritage Site. Located in Fort Lauderdale, the museum educates visitors of all ages about naval aviation history and honors the men and women who defended freedom during World War II.
Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale Museum publishes its own offers, and when nasflmuseum.com was last read, on , there was none.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
