About Little Beakers - Katy/Memorial

Little Beakers is a hands-on science laboratory in the Katy/Memorial area where children conduct real experiments using professional equipment, lab coats, and safety glasses. Unlike science shows, every child performs actual lab work in a 6,000 square foot facility on Katy Freeway. The Open Lab offers more than 30 self-guided experiments for visitors to try. The venue runs five-day science camps with six to eight hands-on projects daily during summer, holiday, and spring break sessions. Science classes include homeschool programs with transcripts, after-school offerings, preschool science, guided lab sessions, and dissection classes. Birthday parties feature scientist-led experiments with themes such as Polymers & Explosions, Forensics, and Shark, Frog, and Earthworm Dissection Parties. The facility also hosts field trips for PreK through 12th grade and group events for scout organizations and corporate teams. Founded by a military and aerospace chemist, Little Beakers serves families throughout Houston, Texas.
