About Lake Metroparks Farmpark

Lake Metroparks Farmpark is a working farm and education center on 235 acres in Kirtland, Ohio, where visitors connect with agricultural roots and learn where food and clothing originate. The farm features dairy cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, horses, alpacas, and goats alongside a plant science center and farm machinery exhibits. Horse-drawn and tractor-drawn wagons, which are handicap accessible, transport visitors throughout the park to all destinations. Daily activities include demonstrations and educational programs focused on farming and gardening practices. Monthly special events feature Maple Sugaring Weekends, a Vintage Ohio Wine Festival, and Fall Harvest Weekends. The park includes a playground for children. An award-winning educational site, Farmpark welcomes more than 100,000 students from area schools annually. The farm operates on a seasonal schedule; current hours are available on the venue's website.
