Kidzeum of Health and Science is a hands-on children's museum in downtown Springfield where visitors explore three floors of interactive exhibits focused on healthy body, healthy earth, and healthy community. Children ages 2 and up engage with exhibits including a climbing structure, water play area, building activities, and sorting games designed to foster curiosity and critical thinking. The museum offers daily programs alongside its permanent collection. Families typically spend 1.5 to 2.5 hours exploring, with the option to return to favorite exhibits before leaving. The venue hosts birthday parties, field trips for school groups and scout organizations, and runs 15 or more STEAM camp sessions annually. The museum is housed in a restored 19th-century building on the National Register of Historic Places.
