Kidzeum of Health and Science, Springfield

About Kidzeum of Health and Science

Kidzeum of Health and Science invites children ages 2-10 to explore a three-floor hands-on museum where visitors pretend, climb, build, splash, sort, and experiment across exhibits focused on healthy body, healthy earth, and healthy community. Exhibits include the Human Body, where children learn about organs and systems; the Garden, featuring plant life and sustainability; and the Community Kitchen for food exploration. Most families spend 1.5 to 2.5 hours moving through the space, with re-entry allowed the same day. The museum provides elevator access, accessible restrooms, and sensory-friendly spaces. A lunchroom and gift shop with snacks are available on-site. Daily programs run during open hours; staff can suggest where to start based on each child's interests. Kidzeum sits in historic downtown Springfield with free street meter parking available.
