About Gustine History Center

The Gustine History Center preserves and shares the history of Gustine and California's West Side agricultural development through exhibits, artifacts, and research opportunities. Visitors explore the Gustine Museum, which displays collected artifacts, memorabilia, documents, maps, periodicals, and hundreds of photographs documenting the community's past. Current exhibits feature displays on Early Communications and World War II, including a tribute to ten Gustine citizens who lost their lives in service and a World War II prisoners of war display recognizing six soldiers from the community. The facility offers museum tours, a research collection, and a museum store. The Gustine Historical Society also maintains a YouTube channel featuring videos from members' 8mm, 16mm, and VHS recordings of local people and places. The center suits anyone interested in local history, California agriculture, military heritage, or genealogical research. The attraction operates from two locations in Gustine, California.
