About Green Earth Harvest

Green Earth Harvest is a certified organic farm operated by The Conservation Foundation on McDonald Farm in Naperville. Visitors participate in seasonal vegetable subscriptions, selecting from the farm's harvests through a self-select program that lets them customize their farm-to-table experience. The farm operates four greenhouses across 49 acres and supplies over 700 families through its farmshare program. Throughout the summer, subscribers access free U-pick days for green beans, ground cherries, herbs, and cherry tomatoes. The farm also hosts Music on the Farm events, farm tours, and children's activities. A weekly farm stand operates during the season, and local farm partners bring fruit, meat, eggs, milk, flowers, organic grains, flour, and sourdough breads to pickups. Summer camps connect young visitors directly with farm operations. The Green Earth Harvest program also distributes approximately 20,000 pounds of produce annually to community food pantries.
