About Greater Cleveland Aquarium

Greater Cleveland Aquarium invites visitors to explore more than 2,700 aquatic animals across seven immersive galleries in downtown Cleveland. The centerpiece is an 11,000-gallon stingray touchpool where guests interact directly with stingrays, alongside a 175-foot seatube that immerses visitors in underwater viewing. Animals on display include garden eels, snowflake eels, sharks, and a giant Pacific octopus. The Aquarium occupies the historic FirstEnergy Powerhouse in the Nautica Waterfront District, steps from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, West Side Market, Jacobs Pavilion, and Music Box Supper Club. Visitors can attend daily activities and special events throughout the year. The facility operates from midmorning through early evening with last entry in early afternoon. Children under age two enter free, and the Aquarium charges separate admission prices for adults and children. Service dogs meeting Americans with Disabilities Act standards are welcome, and limited wheelchairs are available to borrow.
