About Whispering Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary

Whispering Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary provides safe haven for rescued farm animals including horses, goats, sheep, pigs, donkeys, turkeys, and ducks in Medina, Ohio. The sanctuary welcomes over one hundred animals, each with its own story and name. Visitors encounter animals recovering from neglect, abuse, and abandonment, many arriving in severe condition requiring intensive veterinary care and rehabilitation. The sanctuary serves a broader mission beyond animal rescue, opening its gates to survivors of domestic violence, families facing financial hardship, and individuals seeking temporary animal care during mental health treatment. Educational programming and volunteer opportunities allow community members to participate in animal care and witness the healing that occurs alongside the animals.
