About Georgia Sports Hall of Fame

The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame is a 43,000-square-foot museum in Macon that celebrates Georgia's sports history through interactive exhibits and inductee displays. Visitors explore more than 14,000 square feet of high-energy exhibit space dedicated to prep, college, amateur, and professional athletes and coaches. The Hall of Fame Corridor honors over 400 inductees who have shaped the state's sporting legacy. The building's architecture evokes a turn-of-the-century ballpark, featuring a red-brick exterior, green roof, old-style ticket booths, and brick columns in the rotunda. A 205-seat theater with exposed steel trellises modeled after Atlanta's historic Ponce de Leon Park provides additional exhibition space. The museum schedules group tours for visitors interested in guided experiences. The hall also functions as an event venue for private functions.
