About Emerald Coast Zoo

Emerald Coast Zoo in Crestview offers up-close animal encounters including the chance to feed giraffes, the world's tallest animals. Visitors can pet sloths, feed colorful birds with seed sticks, treat a black bear with honey, interact with a hyena, hop with wallabies and kangaroos in their enclosure, get close to penguins while they swim and fish, hand-feed an Aldabra tortoise over a century old, and hug a boa constrictor. The zoo also features viewing of white tigers, wolves, jaguars, macaws, crocodiles, cassowaries, bears, camels, alpacas and other animals. Special programs include Snake Yoga classes held in the Reptile House, where participants practice gentle flow surrounded by reptile residents. The zoo operates Tuesday through Sunday with free parking and wagon rentals available. Admission is charged at published rates.
