About Gulf Breeze Zoo
Gulf Breeze Zoo spreads across 50 acres where visitors walk through the first 20 acres of exhibits and ride the Safari Express Train through a 30-acre free roaming preserve. The train departs hourly from the depot and offers guided tours of animal habitats. Guests feed goats, sheep, camels, waterfowl, turtles, and giraffes at designated areas using cups of feed available at ticketing counters. An aviary and animal experiences provide additional ways to interact with the collection. Wagon and wheelchair rentals help families navigate the grounds, and the zoo hosts birthday parties and special events across three event spaces. Located on Highway 98 in Gulf Breeze between Pensacola and Destin, the zoo opens 363 days annually with hours published on its site. Military and law enforcement visitors receive 15 percent off admission with valid military ID, according to gbzoo.com.
