Panhandle Exotics is a pet store and indoor zoo in Pensacola, Florida, where visitors encounter exotic animals and browse one of the region's largest reptile selections. The zoo section displays Asian otters, South American sloths, ringtail lemurs, and naked mole rats, with hands-on encounters available for some species. The store stocks sugar gliders, hedgehogs, skunks, ferrets, and lemurs alongside constantly changing mammal inventory. An extensive freshwater fish department serves aquarists, while a dedicated section features crystals, rocks, and minerals from around the world. Reptile and amphibian supplies complement the animal displays. The family-owned business, established in 2012 and USDA licensed, occupies a 4,500-square-foot location and personally raises many of the species it offers.
