About Uncle Sandy's Macaw Bird Park Pensacola
Uncle Sandy's Macaw Bird Park Pensacola offers visitors interaction with macaws and exotic birds in a free-flight open aviary setting. The park is a 501(c)(3) non-profit sanctuary dedicated to rescuing unwanted parrots and other bird species. Admission includes one cup of food to feed the birds during your visit. The park operates limited hours based on volunteer availability, open Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Groups of ten or more can schedule tours by calling ahead. The sanctuary was founded by Uncle Sandy, who built the original aviary to let rescued macaws fly freely, and volunteers now maintain his legacy.
