About East Texas Elephant Experience

East Texas Elephant Experience offers hands-on encounters with three African elephants—Paige, Krissy, and Jeanie—at its location near Conroe in Cut and Shoot, Texas. Tours last up to 1.5 hours and let visitors pet and photograph the elephants while learning about their care, including diet, exercise, and foot care. Guests also meet Dromedary camels Earl Jack and Abu, Mr. Z the Grants Zebra, and a herd of pygmy goats that graze together in the pasture. The experience includes education on the plight of African elephants in their native range countries. Tours run at noon and 2 p.m. on varying dates; tickets are sold online through easttexaselephantexperience.com at published prices. Children under 3 years old enter free with an adult.
