About Gator Country

Gator Country Adventure Park & Sanctuary in Beaumont is the largest alligator adventure park in Southeast Texas, housing over 450 American alligators along with crocodiles, snakes, lizards, tortoises, and other wildlife. Visitors experience live educational feeding shows, hands-on animal encounters where they can hold reptiles, and wading pools with baby alligators. The park includes a petting zoo with tortoises, emus, and deer, swamp boat tours, and photo opportunities throughout the grounds. Many animals at Gator Country were rescued through nuisance wildlife programs or donated, given permanent homes rather than euthanasia. General admission provides access to feeding shows, animal interactions with staff and interns, and splash pad access when weather permits. An upgraded Adventure Package includes animal feed, opportunities to hold larger snakes or lizards, and wading experiences with small alligators. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
