di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art in Napa holds the world's foremost collection of contemporary art from Northern California, featuring more than 1,600 works by artists including Robert Arneson, Joan Brown, Jay DeFeo, Roy De Forest, and William T. Wiley. Visitors explore a 217-acre campus with an art museum, nearly 80 outdoor sculptures, a serene lake, vineyard-lined trails, and picnic areas. The grounds feature wildlife and the Olive Grove. Rotating exhibitions include The Dome Show, David Best: Eyes and Ears, and Michele Pred: Projecting Democracy. Programs include artist talks, guided hikes, children's art and nature camps, live performances, and the Shakespeare Summer Stroll. Specific activities include the Winery Lake Bird Walk and Art & Nature Hike. School groups can arrange in-person tours led by di Rosa Gallery Teachers lasting 75 to 90 minutes, with options to picnic in the Olive Grove afterward.
