Crown Valley Park in Laguna Niguel draws over 240,000 visitors annually and functions as the city's recreational hub. The park contains multiple activity areas including two playgrounds, two spraygrounds with water features, and an outdoor amphitheater that hosts the city's Summer Concert Series and other events. The amphitheater includes a stage and terraced grass seating where visitors bring blankets or low lawn chairs. The Laguna Niguel Aquatics Center operates an outdoor heated pool within the park, maintained at approximately 81 degrees. The 18-acre Niguel Botanical Preserve, started in 1981 as a community vegetable garden, features horticultural displays and the Laguna Niguel Labyrinth at its top, which offers views of the city and Saddleback Valley. The park also houses the Crown Valley Community Center and Laguna Niguel Family YMCA. Additional facilities include sports fields and rental spaces. The park offers recreation programs and activities for children and other visitors throughout the year.
