About Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens

Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens is a 20-acre botanical garden built within a restored, century-old limestone quarry in Williston. Visitors explore well-marked trails through gardens featuring azaleas, camellias, water lilies, ixora, bougainvillea, and other flowering plants. The grounds include waterfalls and koi ponds set among the quarry's rocky landscape. A self-guided tour takes approximately 90 minutes and includes benches and rest areas along the way. The upper overlook trail offers views of the lakes and gardens below. Admission includes a garden map overview. The garden opens daily at 9:30 AM with last admission at 4:45 PM. Visitors may bring pets and should bring water to stay hydrated; snacks and beverages are available for purchase. Group visits of more than 12 people can arrange discounted admission rates with advance reservation. School field trips are welcome. The property was founded in 1991 on a former abandoned quarry and has grown into one of Florida's unique botanical destinations.
