Tuscawilla Art Park sits just north of downtown Ocala and showcases larger-than-life outdoor sculptures throughout a three-acre space. Visitors explore painted bridges, a metal dragon sculpture, and rotating artworks at their own pace or follow the self-guided City of Ocala's Public Art Tour. Markers near each piece provide brief descriptions, and QR codes on the signs direct smartphone users to full audio descriptions of the art. The park features both permanent sculptures and rotating pieces, so return visits reveal new works. Beyond the sculptures themselves, the three-acre grounds offer live botanical art, winding pathways, and shaded seating areas. Picnic tables and a pavilion provide places to rest. When finished exploring the art park, visitors can walk to adjacent Tuscawilla Park for additional activities including a playground, tennis courts, and views of Lake Tuscawilla.
