About Silver Springs State Park
Silver Springs State Park offers Glass Bottom Boat tours of one of America's largest springs, where visitors ride in boats with transparent hulls to observe the crystal-clear waters below. The park centers on the five-mile Silver River, where guests paddle kayaks, canoes, or stand-up paddleboards downstream from the head spring to Ray Wayside Park, with shuttle service back upstream. Kayak options include single and tandem models in sit-in and sit-on styles, plus clear kayaks for underwater views. Canoes seat up to three people. The park also features the Silver River Museum and Pioneer Village, hiking trails, camping, and dining at Springside Café and Paradise Treats. Wildlife viewing opportunities include manatees, alligators, marsh birds, and wild monkeys. Children 5 and under are free, normally two dollars.
