About Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention
Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention is an experiential museum in Gainesville, Florida where visitors take things apart, conduct experiments, and 3D print designs while exploring exhibits about people and inventions that changed the world. The museum features hands-on labs including Design + Doodle Lab and Little Sparks programming, alongside rotating exhibits such as Invention of Cool, which explores how inventors beat the heat. Permanent exhibits include The Sweat Solution about Gatorade's invention, At First Flush exploring toilet history, and Mothers of Invention examining necessity, curiosity, imagination, iteration, and serendipity. Military families receive 20% off admission. Blue Star families get free admission from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day. Low-income families with SNAP or WIC cards pay three dollars per adult with free admission for children.
