About Cape Fear Riverboats

Cape Fear Riverboats operates scenic cruises on the Cape Fear River, North Carolina's largest river system, aboard the Henrietta, Wilmington's longest continuously running tour boat since 1987. Visitors enjoy captain-narrated sightseeing cruises featuring historic landmarks and regional history, daily sunset cruises, seasonal black water nature cruises, and monthly extended Black River nature tours led by local ecologist Andy Wood. The vessel accommodates groups of 15 or more on the lower deck. Cruises showcase the river's natural wildlife and historic sites while providing narrated education about the area's rich history. The attraction suits couples on dates, friend groups, coworkers, and families, with options for special occasions including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and reunions. Combo tours pairing river cruises with visits to nearby Battleship North Carolina are available. The boats operate in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina.
