About Barona Speedway

Barona Speedway is a quarter-mile clay oval racing track where spectators watch IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Hobby Stocks, IMCA Sport Compacts, So-Cal Lightning Sprints, Dwarf Cars, Pure Stocks, and Kids Classes compete on race nights. Gates open at 2:00 pm with racing starting at 6:00 pm, and the venue also hosts open practice sessions where drivers can reserve pit stalls. The track features a semi-banked design and is San Diego's only facility of its kind. Visitors can purchase general admission tickets or pit passes to access different areas of the speedway.
