About A-Town Park

A-Town Park is a staffed skatepark in Atascadero, California, where kids and teens skateboard and scooter in a supervised environment. The park has operated for over 20 years as one of the few staffed skate and scooter parks still thriving in the country. Experienced adults who ride themselves supervise daily, creating an encouraging atmosphere focused on building confidence and respect among visitors. The facility emphasizes community values and enforces clear rules that maintain a friendly, safe vibe. A-Town Park offers a free after-school program alongside regular paid sessions, making it one of the lowest-cost skate experiences available. The park operates within Atascadero Colony Park and is entirely self-funded by the community. A visit suits young skaters and scooter riders looking for a welcoming space where they can practice their skills and connect with others who share their interests.
