About WinterFest

WinterFest is a seasonal holiday celebration at Carowinds where visitors experience festive live shows, select rides and attractions, and meet Santa. The park transforms into a winter wonderland with specific activities including cookie decorating, holiday shopping, and visits with Santa and the elves during Tinker's Toy Factory, a holiday musical. Families can ride attractions such as Snoopy's Racing Railway alongside up to 29 other rides and activities. The midway features picturesque light displays for evening strolls. Food options include hot chocolate served in souvenir mugs, seasonal treats, and holiday meals to share. Live entertainment throughout the event includes dazzling shows and concerts with Christmas music, with showtimes available through the Carowinds mobile app. The celebration suits families with children of various ages seeking holiday traditions and winter activities together in Charlotte, North Carolina.
