About Wilmington Rock Gym

Wilmington Rock Gym is an indoor climbing facility where visitors scale walls using top rope routes and bouldering techniques. The gym spans 6,000 square feet with over 3,500 square feet of climbing surface, featuring walls up to 20 feet tall. Climbers can choose from more than 50 top rope routes and 65 bouldering routes that range from beginner to advanced difficulty across slab, vertical, and overhanging terrain. The facility uses climbing holds produced by manufacturers including Nicros, eGrips, and Atomik, plus a custom boulder wall by Rockwerx. A separate training room contains high-intensity training equipment and free weights for climbers preparing for outdoor expeditions. The gym also provides changing and bathroom facilities, a lounge area, and rental equipment. Wilmington Rock Gym suits climbers of all ages from toddlers to seniors, with programs for newcomers and experienced climbers alike. The gym is located off Market Street in the Porter's Neck area of Wilmington.
